Description: The Mountain Pine Beetle infestation within Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado is widespread now on both sides of the park. From the Kawuneeche Valley to the Upper Beaver Meadows, the pine beetles have taken their toll on the mountainside pine, as evidenced by the red dead trees among the healthy green pines.
